A significant breakthrough has been made in the notorious teacher appointment corruption case in West Bengal, as documents pertaining to appointments in 60 municipalities have been recovered from the residence of Hooghly promoter and Trinamool leader Ayan Sheel.
The recovered documents, totaling 400 OMR sheets, reveal a staggering amount of approximately 200 crore rupees used for these appointments.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) conducted extensive raids across eight municipalities, with further investigations expected in the coming days.
The recovered evidence sheds light on the scale of corruption in municipal appointments and marks a significant step towards uncovering the truth in this case.
